Shipping policy

Our guarantee applies only to orders with correct addresses. Grumpy Butcher products are perishable, and we can not guarantee the condition of your order if a common carrier has to reroute it. 

Orders placed from Saturday through and until Wednesday 12:00 pm EST will ship within 24 hours and arrive within 2-3 business days, unless Expedited Shipping was chosen during check out.  We ship Monday through Friday, but our frozen shipments can’t be in transit over the weekend, so we are not able to deliver your package on a Sunday, Monday or a FedEx/UPS holiday.

COVID-19 UPDATE

All common carriers are experiencing significantly higher than normal volumes. We're receiving reports of packages being delayed at different FedEx and UPS hubs around the country or not being picked by UPS and/or FedEx from our shipping centers on designated days.  All of our products are perishable and it's important to us that customers' orders arrive as close to the chosen delivery date as possible, but it's not always possible. 

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

HOW DO WE DO IT? 

We pack our products in a cooler within a shipping box with enough dry ice to keep the contents frozen well into the evening of the delivery date. It is best to open the package immediately upon arrival and put the content in the refrigerator (allow 12 hours before using).  USE GLOVES when handling dry ice. Fun Fact: the temperature inside that box is about negative 110 degrees F which is colder than your freezer by 100 degrees. 

NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED
Common carrier is authorized to leave all packages at the destination without signature which will ensure that your product will not melt due to multiple delivery attempts.

TRACKING
When the shipping label is created you will receive an email with your tracking number. Please enter your cell phone number during checkout, if you'd like to receive a text message when your order is delivered.

IN A RUSH? UPGRADE!
All Next Day Shipping orders received by Noon EST Monday through Friday will be processed the same day. Overnight orders for Saturday delivery must be received by noon Friday or they will be shipped the following Monday.

DensHotDogs.com cannot be responsible for damage or loss due to unavailable recipient or incorrect address information, or theft. We are not able to change the address or cancel an order once the package has been processed for shipment. Please ensure your recipient will be at the shipping address on the arrival day.

We only replace or refund orders, arriving damaged or incomplete. S&H charge (if any), is NOT refundable.   Due to the perishable nature of our products, products can not be returned. STANDARD SHIPPING
Your package will arrive in up to 3-4 business days (usually less, most of the time) from the day we receive your order. Orders received with longer transit locations than shipping days left in the week will be held for shipment the following Monday. Using Standard shipping, your package will arrive Tuesday through Friday and Saturday, if possible.

EXPRESS SHIPPING
Order by Noon EST Saturday – Wednesday and your package should arrive in 2-3 business days. Orders placed after Noon EST on Wednesday will ship the following week. Saturday delivery is not available with this option.

OVERNIGHT SHIPPING
Order by Noon CST Monday – Thursday and your package will arrive the next day. Orders placed after Noon CST on Thursday will be shipped the following Monday.  Saturday delivery is not available with this option.

OVERNIGHT SHIPPING for Saturday
Order by Noon CST Friday and your package will arrive Saturday. Saturday delivery is not available in some locations.

OUR GUARANTEE
To guarantee delivery we must have the complete and correct address. We are not able to deliver to PO Boxes, A.P.O or F.P.O addresses.
